YURT BASE

My building system, “the sphere of OZ”, a tool that I have conceived and designed for erecting a geodesic sphere is eminently suitable for a construction of most any other type of a building/structure. One among them is a “dish”, an inverted geodesic dome, designed to serve as a foundation/platform to carry a yurt, a “glamping” dome or a tent, and it is intended especially for an environment where the terrain is uneven, hilly or wet, under which conditions the current/conventional wood platforms/decks are usually more hassle and expense than the yurts them selves, while the dish is simultaneously providing an additional living, storage, utility space. There will be no need for a ground clearing, excavation and on site construction work to install the dish foundation/platform other than making room and anchor it by means that will be determined during the design stages.
